Appropriate healthcare for all Namibians

Namibia Private Practitioners Forum is a new concept for interactions, negotiations, data exchange, funding and control for private medical care in Namibia.

The NPPF (Namibia Private Practitioners Forum) was established during April 2011. It followed extended fact finding and consultative meetings between healthcare professionals, medical aids, administrators, governing bodies, competition commission and Namibian government ministries.

The NPPF is a Section 21 Company. This means it is a legal body with public responsibility and with the same powers and responsibilities as any other registered company. Section 21 means it is not designed "for gain" and will not pay part of any profits to its shareholders or members. All funds that are generated will be "retained" and used solely for the purpose of the company and as described in its rules and regulations.
